At 70, the multifaceted artist Stellest is taking the music scene by storm at Ballan-Miré on March 21, 2025.

The father of solar sculptures in the world of contemporary art defends the idea that our planet Earth is a gigantic renewable energy battery.

Surrounded by his group, the Planetary Vagabonds, the eternal showman offers music that finds its roots between the raw punk of Nirvana, the Native American free poetry of Jim Morrison and the stripped-down rock of Lennon. In the vein of the legendary Live Aid of Bob Geldof and Midge Hure, Stellest swings 5000 Watt solar projectors and as much sound power on the ecological challenge of the century.

For him, it is in music that his life finds its own renewal, with the breathtaking collaboration of Gwen (?), Lenny Kravitz’s horn; and the rumbling one of Fernando Saunders, bassist of Lou Reed; The Planetary Vagabonds arrive in Langeais on March 21 for a unique evening. Green light: takeoff!

This is a project that is now a few years old, but which remains very important to me.

This sculpture, first designed with a 3D prototype, then in metal, has a very innovative concept. On the aesthetic level, its curved and elegant lines evoke women, femininity and on the technical level, it includes an entire electronic and connected system, which indicates weather variations via a disk at the back. It is not yet completely finished.

It has undergone some changes and the disk has been modified. It is not attached, it will float by electromagnet.
